Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is of Chinese and German descent. Munn was predominantly raised in Tokyo, Japan, where the military stationed her stepfather. Her parents divorced and she moved back to Oklahoma, where she attended Putnam City North High School and the University of Oklahoma, majoring in journalism and minoring in Japanese and dramatic arts. After graduating, she became an intern at the NBC affiliate in Tulsa, and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Since May 2014, Munn has been dating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

While in Japan, Munn appeared in a number of local theater productions, and later became a model within the Japanese fashion industry. In 2004, she interned at Fox Sports Net and worked as a sideline reporter for college football and women’s basketball. In 2006, Munn moved on to the G4 network, where she began co-hosting Attack of the Show with Kevin Pereira. She replaced departing host Sarah Lane. Munn left AOTS in December 2010 and was replaced by Candace Bailey. She then became a correspondent on The Daily Show from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, Munn had roles in the films Date Night and Iron Man 2, and guest-starred alongside Yvonne Strahovski on NBC’s Chuck. In 2015, she co-starred in the film Mortdecai, opposite Johnny Depp. Since January 2015, Munn has been the voice of the character Phoebe Callisto in the Disney Junior animated series Miles from Tomorrowland. Munn’s book, Suck It, Wonder Woman: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek, was released on July 6, 2010. She helped PETA with a campaign that ultimately freed a sick elephant from a touring circus, and her blog for The Huffington Post was credited with encouraging fans to contact the USDA on the elephant’s behalf. She began her career being credited as Lisa Munn, and has been using the name Olivia Munn personally and professionally since 2006.

Why we think she’s hot:

She’s Psylocke. That’s enough said in and of itself. However, we also dig that she digs video games, occasionally cosplays as Wonder Woman, co-hosted Attack Of The Show for a few years, and is the quintessential Geek Queen. Furthermore, we see it as an absolute blessing that she dedicates a large portion of her time to being extremely active with animal rights. Fuzzy bunnies aside, she’s not only gorgeous, but charming, inviting, and honest as well, which in a nutshell simply means that we pretty much buy in to just about anything she touches these days. However, all things being equal, we don’t know if we’ll ever be able to get past the shock of her first step-father actually uttering the phrase, “Olivia isn’t very pretty, is she?” Is that any way to talk about a queen?
