Smartasses Top 100 Sexiest WomenVerona Pooth (born April 30, 1968)  (born Verona Feldbusch) is a German television personality and occasional actress. In 1993, she was Miss Germany and Miss Intercontinental and represented her country at Miss Universe. Pooth is 5′ 8″ (173 cm) tall. She legally changed her last name to Pooth after her second marriage, despite the fact that she is a household name in Germany as “Verona Feldbusch”. Her father is German and her mother is Bolivian. She is also the youngest of three children- she has two older brothers.

In 2004, she married Franjo Pooth. They have one son, San Diego, who was born on September 10, 2003, and was named after the location of their wedding, which took place in San Diego, California. Her wedding ceremony in Europe was celebrated in Vienna’s famous Cathedral of St. Stephen and became one of the most glamorous events ever performed there. The whole ceremony was adapted from Empress Elisabeth’s wedding in the 19th century, and her wedding dress was designed by Karl Lagerfeld. She was previously married to Dieter Bohlen from May to June of 1996, whom she wed in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pooth has her own line of underwear called Verona’s Dreams which she sells at department stores in Germany and over the internet. The assortment has recently been extended to costume jewelry. Pooth’s appearance on Die Johannes B. Kerner Show (1998), where Germany’s leading feminist Alice Schwarzer called Pooth old-fashioned, attracted the public’s attention for months, and became one of the most historical events of German television history.

The German broadcasting corporation RTL 2 cancelled her presenter contract, a midst controversy, and pending legal action against her husband, after an affair that commanded extensive coverage in the press. -Various
